Privacy policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
This policy explains what Cloudtorian collects through cloudtorian.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Work we do for clients is governed by the agreement for that work.
The short version
- This site doesn’t use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or other tracking technology.
- We receive personal information only when you choose to send it, through a form or by email.
- We use it to respond to you. We don’t sell it or share it for advertising.
What we collect
- Inquiries you send. When you submit the contact form or a project summary, we receive your name, work email, company if you give one, and your message or summary.
- Tori answers. Tori’s questions run in your browser. Your answers aren’t sent to us unless you review the summary and submit it.
- Email. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request details, such as browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure, and may keep them in server logs. When you submit a form, we briefly store a hashed form of your IP address to limit spam. We don’t use this data to profile you.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and discuss possible work.
- To scope, schedule, and deliver work if you engage us.
- To protect the site and its forms from spam and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal information or share it for advertising. These service providers process it on our behalf:
- Amazon Web Services hosts the site, stores inquiries, and delivers inquiry notifications to our inbox.
- Microsoft 365 provides our business email.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
Cloudtorian is based in the United States, and the information you send is stored there.
How long we keep it
Inquiries submitted through the forms are deleted from our website database automatically after about 180 days. Copies in our email, and records of work we go on to do together, are kept for as long as that relationship and our legal, tax, and accounting obligations require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Security
Inquiries are sent over an encrypted connection and encrypted where they are stored. No method is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords, secrets, or confidential data through the forms.
Your choices
Email info@cloudtorian.com to ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This site doesn’t track visitors across sites or over time, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends one of these signals.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We’ll post any changes on this page and update the date above.
